Hi there. After reading all your definitions of learning I thought I would share mine. When I was at school I was the sort who struggled and gave up easily, therefore learnt running seemed easier than tackling my obstacles, though now I have just finished a maths course as an adult and found the rebel in me has gone and replaced with wanting to learn at my own pace to further either my career one day or just have the knowledge to help my children, and the rewards I felt as an adult seemed far greater than as a child. So, learning to me means no matter what age we get to we will one day all want to learn something, and realize how much fun it can be. like the old saying you learn something everyday.

From Vicki Fowles

Learning is the total sum of Input + Experience, EQUALS, Thought process + Output. Thus input can be a new experience or adding to an existing experience, which can be determined by the thought process, the ability to access information, and hence the reaction or 'act' of output - the sum of learning.

7. Re: Definition of Learning
From Rajendra Karnik Surat

Learning is process through which the student is encouraged to ask questions on various aspects of life and the teacher should get replies from him only by asking various, related questions on the topic and these could be bookish as well of practical life.

Learning is a process of Mental, Physical and Spiritual development. Development is advancing and growth. Development is proof that learning has taken place. One has to apply him or her self to a given situation and or context in order for learning to occur.
