Statutory Redundancy Pay (UK)

• Maximum payment is £8700 or 30 weeks' pay (whichever is the smaller)
  
  
• Minimum of two years' continuous service with the same employer from age 18 upwards
  
  
• For each complete year of continuous service:
  
  

  Employees aged 18—21	Half a week's pay
  Employees aged 22—40	One week's pay
  Employees aged 41—64	One and a half weeks' pay
  Employees aged 64—65	One-twelfth less pay for every month the employee remains in employment past the age of 64
